Thrashed: Bike Bandit iPhone/iPad App Review

The Bike Bandit app is fairly simple to navigate and can save you a lot of time.

I'm extremely passionate about two subjects: all things off-road and my Apple iPad. So you can imagine how stoked I was that Bike Bandit released a special iPad app that paired my two main interests. This app allows you to view schematics of any ATV and motorcycle, will tell you if Bike Bandit has that part in stock, how much the product will cost, the part number and makes it available to order right from your iPad or iPhone. This complete setup is downloadable for free, and the schematics page can be a huge benefit when you're wrenching and need help with the individual parts.

I've already found this app helpful while working on my older 2004 Yamaha YFZ450's rear master cylinder. Before I took it apart the app allowed me to see the details of the master cylinder and all the parts that comprise it. When it was time to order the parts to replace the damaged pieces, I was able to do it without ever picking up the phone. The Bike Bandit app is fairly simple to navigate and can save you a lot of time. You never even have to step away from your quad to see the details and make your order. -Thad Josey
