It features a carbon fiber hand-laid shell and triple-density EPS and Koroyd, which is an energy-absorbing technology that is not only used in Klim helmets, but other brands like Thor and UFO. Upon impact, the Koroyd cores uniformly crush to reduce the energy. It also has a Fidlock quick-release strap to make it easy to stop and pull your helmet off on the side of the trail.
The helmet has plenty of ventilation, with 13 intake vents and six exhaust vents, and has an antimicrobial moisture-wicking liner. It also includes a removable breath box to fit your preference as temperature changes. The visor has also been reengineered to be more aerodynamic and improve the rider’s view.
It comes in a variety of colors: Thrashed Electric Blue Lemonade/Metallic Silver, Thrashed Asphalt/Hi-Vis, Ascent Black/Asphalt and Ascent Asphalt/Strike Orange.
F3 Carbon Pro Helmet ECE retails for $499.99. You can preorder it at klim.com.
