There is a reason the state of Utah is home to so many off-roading events with its scenic views and majestic beauty; it offers some of the best! San Juan ATV Safari is hosted in the small town of Blanding near the Four Corners region and Utah’s largest county, San Juan. It’s a place where the cowboy meets the mix of Native American culture.
Check-in starts on September 14. It is recommended to arrive early, get settled in, then enjoy the night ride heading out at 5 p.m. The next three days are packed with world-class riding throughout San Juan’s best trails.
Ride more than 18 different trails, including John’s Canyon, Arch Canyon, and Scenic Alpine La Sal. Pick your day’s adventure with routes ranging from short 15-mile rides to 76-mile-long excursions. Most of the trails are perfect for ATV use, but are too narrow for a truck or SUV. Most are UTV friendly, while some have a 50-inch width limit.
Travel through aspens, pines, junipers, red rock canyons, and ancient American sites, and even climb peaks reaching 11,000 feet in elevation. The trail system ranges from easy to difficult, so there’s something for everyone.
There are local accommodations near the event site and in Blanding that include charming inns, RV camping, Airbnbs, and cabins. Camp rustic or vacation in style.
