A few short weeks ago, we were in Utah with our pals over at UTV Driver testing some of the latest ATVs and side-by-sides on the red rocks of Moab. On the ATV side, we brought out a 2022 Yamaha Grizzly XT-R and a 2022 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 S LE. We spent three full days testing these machines on various trails, most of which had high difficulty ratings and one with an extreme danger rating. Fortunately, both ATVs were equipped with a winch. The trails we wrung out the duo on are, in this order: Fins and Things, Hell’s Revenge, Hurrah Pass, Moab Rim, and the infamous Pritchett Canyon. If you’re looking for a place to test a new winch, the latter never disappoints.

Starting next week, we will begin posting up complete ride reviews of those machines as well as reviews and photos of each individual trail. Until then, we leave you with this video and a view of what’s to come.
