Thrashed: Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 Disc Lock and KryptoFlex Looped 30-Foot Cable

Let's be honest, getting robbed sucks! Trust me, I'm speaking from experience… If you're as unlucky as I am and you've had a dirtbag take your valuable gear right out from under your eyes, take a gander at what the folks from Kryptonite have going on. We tested an Evolution Series 4 Disc Lock and a 30-foot KryptoFlex looped cable. The disc lock is typically designed to put on the disc brake of a motorcycle or scooter, but we know our readers are way to cool to ride one of those sliders. The small size of the Evolution lock makes it the perfect fit to throw in the storage box of your ATV or side-by-side as well. With a 30-foot-long cable, you'll have plenty of extra cable to lock up several of your rides.

The Evolution lock features over a million key combinations, has an anti-drill cylinder, a sliding dust cover and comes with three keys (and one of those has a nifty LED light) to tickle your fancy. The KryptoFlex isn't anything elaborate, but besides being 30 feet long, it has a 10mm braided cable that's nearly impossible to cut, it's double looped to work with all Kryptonite U-locks, disc locks and padlocks, and it has a really spiffy shiny vinyl cover. My favorite part about Kryptonite is the anti-theft protection offered. In the event you find an über-skilled dirtbag to defeat the Kryptonite product, assuming you've registered your product and jumped through all the hoops, Kryptonite cuts you a check. That's not a bad deal if you're askin' me! - Lance Schwartz
