There’s been a resurrection of sorts in the vintage ATV world of late. Not only are guys finding and fixing the sought after 3 and 4 wheel, Honda 250Rs, they are fixing up anything from the bye gone era. One particular man we found on Facebook that goes by “William Rotax Franks” has just unveiled a collection of rare Tiger, KTM, Franks and Cagiva three and four wheelers that will blow your mind. The collection took 12 years to build and restore.
Most of the machines are the little known Tiger brand. Tiger was based in Minnesota and tried to take on the big names from Japan by hiring away top riders of the day such as Mickey Dunlap. Mickeys racing contract as well as the Tiger brand only lasted a short time. The machines used Rotax and even early Bombardier engines and hand build frames with race ready suspension, brakes and tires.
Some machines in this collection have before and after photos. The entire collection has just finished be finished so we just had to share it with you. We will do individual articles on each machine in the coming weeks with even more photos and some words from the man himself. Enjoy.
